- Hi Amiga kindred!
-
- My good friend Mike (dealmeida@wit.edu) would graciously
- appreaciate someone's help on a problem of his: he just got
- an external CD-ROM drive for his A1200 (he already has an
- external Hard Drive) and he's having a problem trying to connect
- it somehow to his PCMCIA slot--he mentioned something about his
- MBX board trying to take a larger address than necessary and it
- overflowing the width of the PCMCIA card's address, so that he
- has to remap the PCMCIA address, and he can't figure out how
- to find that out. I'm sorry that my explaiantion of it is so
- rudementary, I'm not quite the Amiga-tech that he is (and I have
- a 2500 so I don't ever have to worry about this problem--I have
- four Zorro ]['s that I'm not using right now).
-
- So, please, if anyone out there has encountered (and hopefully,
- tackled ;) this problem, please E-mail him (dealmeida@wit.edu)
- and help him out, or "reply via e-mail" to this message and i'll
- forward. I'm so looking forward to seeing his CD32 emulator
- running!
-
- Many thanks in advance. It's so hard to find and tech. support
- whatsoever here (even though we both bought our Amigas new.....)
-
- regards,
